At the start of spring the green needs an extra kick to wake up. Like a strong cup of coffee in the morning. Where purely organic or urea-based (CH₄N₂O) fertilisers don’t suffice due to slow effects, ammonium-based (N-NH₄) nitrogen gives the green the quick start it needs. Keep in mind that quick growth may be a stress factor for the grass.

Algin Food Special is an organo-mineral fertiliser for a quick start in spring. It’s suitable for greens with little soil life. This N fertiliser is enriched with organic soil-improving substances. It contains ammonium for quick growth and algae to strengthen and stabilize the grass.

Sports & Golf Use 15 up to max. 30 grams per m² (150 to 300 kilo per ha) every three weeks in spring. Use at a minimum of 8 degrees Celsius; in cloudy weather. Water after scattering.
